pinouts for subaru sub/amp

hey everyone...

I am well aware that subaru sells a 8" under seat sub and amp.
when installing it, they plug the pre made loom coming out of the sub and amp into the back of the stereo.
this means there is already pinouts coming out of the original stereo which have (remote, power, ground, RCA? (fine filters)?)

does this mean i can buy after market sub with amp....

and use some of the pins as my rca input (or line out input)?

obviously i'll need to run my own power and ground, as the stereo is fused to a much less current....
but i want to keep my original stereo, and just connect up a sub and amp....so can i do this?

does anyone know which pin outs are what....or this has been discussed earlier (i couldnt find anything)
