Hi all

anyone still running the Clarion EA1251 here? just wanted to find out what versions of Ipod you are running.

the reason being is that my wife lost my gen1 Ipod touch and I know her Iphone 3g can not be charged when connected....

don't want to invest in an Ipod that I can not charge.....

I've used both a gen2 iPod Mini 4GB and now a 5th gen iPod Nano 8GB. Both work fine.

I'm gonna take a risk and wait for the 3rd gen Ipod touch (coming soon, next week )

Different models have different levels of stayalive - the 5th gen IPod video would reset itself after a few days, but the iPod Mini would last the longest. I'm testing the Nano now, it seems to be okay as well.

ok...Ipod Touch 3rd Gen works but does not charge....same issue as the Iphone 3G..

oh well.....still works....better make sure I take a charger.....
