Hi Folks,

I believe there is an AUX option on the back of the factory 6-CD head unit in the 2.5i Lib.

Does anyone have the pin-outs required to add a couple of RCA's?

Cheers,

Andrew

I was under the impression that the 07+ models had a line in on the front of the factory head units? Legacygt.com usually has quite a bit of information on pin-outs and getting line in if you can't find an answer here.

I think I've found the pinouts, on NASIOC, but need to find what Subaru call the i85 connector... that'll be the challenge!

What do you mean "what they call it"?

It's principally used for connecting to the steering wheel controls.

Thanks Ric,

Looking at this, are these the pinouts I need to also do the steering wheel remotes? will they work with the factory deck? might be able to kill a lot of birds with the single stone if I can find one of these I85 connectors...

I now believe, from this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50364 that pins 1, 2, 5 and 6 are used for the AUX-In, which implies that pins 3 and 7 would still support the steering wheel controls...

hmmm.... :)

The allegation has been the 07 2.5i can't have steering wheel controls because the Head Unit doesn't support it (different from the USDM).

If you find otherwise, you will be popular.
