MY04 aux in options?

Postby girthy » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:08 pm

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before.

What are the options for an aux input jack on an MY04 2.5? Ideally it would be great to control the iPod through the stereo interface, but even just a 3.5mm input would be good. Tried using a few different FM transmitters and the quality is rubbish.

That is all.

Sweet thanks, wasn't sure if that one is compatible with the MY04 stereos.

I just called up a place in Tuggeranong and they supply and fit them for about $300. Bit pricey bit I'm not going to attempt to do it myself :)

Mmmmmm...

I thought they were discontinued which is why I've never really considered it.

Does it also charge the iPod at the same time?

Yes it does charge. As far as playing, the guy said it can only play 6 playlists, and cannot access songs directly (browse, shuffle) only the playlists.

Hey Girthy,

I just saw in the For Sale section that "InLimbo" has one of these iPod interface units for sale for $130

Cheers,
