McIntosh System: Is it Worth the Upgrade?**.

Postby KeenanDenue » Sun Sep 29, 2024 1:11 am

Is the McIntosh audio system in the Subaru Liberty truly worth the investment for a complete upgrade, or are aftermarket solutions often superior in sound quality and functionality? Considering the cost and hassle of replacement, what experiences have members had with both systems, and does the McIntosh system still hold its value in the era of modern audio technology?",

McIntosh audio is garbage IMO, great when it came out but the speakers like to blow and ruin your day. If its intact leave it, If its broken, replace it

I can't speak for speaker prices outside australia but here at least you can get a set of 4 speakers with an amp for around 1k new possibly less on marketplace or other second hand sites. Just take the time installing them and be sure to not half ass it and you should be fine
