I've seen facia kits which include the replacement HVAC controls, but don't want to shell out $1k.
Looking for the most cost effective way to replace the McIntosh unit in my MY09 Liberty GT Spec B to add USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Would sourcing HVAC controls from a wrecker and then using the pre facelift 2-din facia work? or are there any more cost effective facias available?

Usually buying a fascia kit locally from a wreck or partout?
You’ll find the most activity on the Liberty Facebook groups, there’s a few.
Otherwise FB marketplace.

If all you're after is adding USB and bluetooth connectivity, then you might also consider purchasing the following adapter:

It sure is, we have 2 Groms, they’re great.
I guess that just leaves speaker replacements or upgrades.
Stock replacement 6” woofers and 8” *low profile* subs can be found at Soundlabs site, Jaycar etc.
Going to aftermarket 6.5” woofers requires spacers. Some deeper low profile 8” subs might also need a spacer.
Aftermarket low profile subs include Polk, Kicker etc.
