Do the macintosh temp controls work on all libertys, I've looked around and haven't seen this done but I'm planning on using the temperature controls from the macintosh unit then buying the 2 din facia. Please let me know if this won't work or any tips you have.

Hi mate, yes a climate control unit from a pre-facelift (My04-06) McIntosh fitted car is what you need. Hundreds of us have done this exact mod, it is tried and true :)

You can buy the kit with both the climate control and fascia online for $400 odd. Here's a link to a kit online, to give you an idea of exactly what you need. https://avojdm.com/single-zone-av-panel ... 17ag908sc/

I would recommend sending hardwareBoB (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=9994) a message on here, he can supply a kit for less than that, and can also include wiring harness' for plug and play ease of install.

yep, let me know if you're interested - it's currently $325 posted for a complete plug and play setup - lower hvac, upper fascia, subaru to ISO harness, and antenna adapter.

I am also interested Bob. Mine has the nice gloss clear with painted backing look, but I assume that the replacement is more a semi gloss or flat black plastic?

If yours is gloss, it's an 07+ - you need to grab a fascia from Paul Burns - I don't know if he's on the forum, contact him via Facebook. The group name is the forum domain name.
