Gen5 2014 Liberty GT Premium Audio options

I thinking Sub, fronts, rears and I assume going SQ with the McIntosh headunit is a bad idea? I've heard mixed reports, some people say it sounds horrid and some say it sounds good.
Im guessing, you just speaker level into an amp as there wouldn't be any preouts available?
