Thanks. I checked this out. Image is good and can burn CD.... but it is only C1 so doesn't work with later (I think 2009+) models. They need C2 version.

Even though I am an Outback owner rather than Liberty (I hope you are still listening to me ) I have been monitoring this forum to a while to see if C2 map updates after V20 become available. I thought it was about time that I joined up !

If someone does manage to organise a group buy (which I understand would be difficult) I would be happy to chip in $30 for a copy of V23 C2.

we just looking at the website and looks like v22 is the only one for 2005 - 2009 liberty C2 $295.00

they also have this one , but I think it is not correct as it is for 2008 to 2009 2.5L C2 - D1 (the D1 I think is the issue) currently downloaded the v20 off the net & using the C2 with no issues

I have the gen 4 liberty with factory sat nav my08, and it is c2 KENWOOD SYSTEM. The way to tell if you have c1 or c2 is as follows -
C1 when you turn the car on the back ground color behind the subaru logo is BLACK and the map is low res and the roads look like match sticks
C2 when you turn the car on the back ground color behind the subaru logo is WHITE and the map is high res and the roads look wide and clear
I will try to get photos and post them so people can see the difference and maybe we can get enough people together and buy the c2 maps for a gen 4 liberty on DVD (NOT SD CARD).

It must be different for the gen 5. Mine just says mcintosh on a blue and black background when booting up. Its definitely a c2 tho, ive tried both of the iso's and only the c2 works.
