Hey guys,

I am wondering if anyone has installed a GROM USB3 to their GX203KE model radio?

It is listed as being compatible on the website.

I installed it fine, and it worked off the bat via. the CD changer mode. However after turning the car off it stopped working all togethor, as in it was not being recognised, nor was the CD changer button working/doing anything.

Unplugging and re-installing the unit fixed the issue temporarily. A few successive drives were fine, but then again it stopped working after leaving the car turned off for a few minutes.

Again, a re-install of the unit fixed things temporarily before the issue came back.

I tried updating the firmware as suggested but it has not fixed the issue.

Anyone experienced any similar issues and know of any reasons?

I would like to know the answer too.
I have the GX-203KE stereo in a 2006 Outback. The head unit input controls are:
CD
CHR
BAND
TAPE
Will this stereo accept and Grom adaptor or anything else for that matter into the back of it?
Will the steering wheel controls operate and blue tooth connected phone?
