Howdy folks,
A question about a particular wire from the stock headunit.
Circled below, I believe it's a grounding wire, but I don't know what for?
I've hooked up a new system and have everything working except this one, but everything is working so I'm not sure if it's just an extra ground protection or what not....
Any ideas?

Edit: The original wire was a single black wire.

It's a ground cable. There is a ground cable in the factory loom and that is a chassis ground. Not required.
