Getting the right facia for my MY05 GT

Postby Wheaties » Thu Feb 25, 2016 7:19 pm

Hey,

I've had the car for 2 weeks and FM Radio is already driving me nuts. Time to upgrade the stereo. I've got an MY05 Liberty and just wanted to confirm the facia I need. I've looked at the previous posts and I don't believe I need the full climate control setup but just wanted to check.

I think that I just need one of these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281930131975 ... EBIDX%3AIT

Happy to buy the part from a member instead of eBay too. If there's someone selling, just PM me.

Below is a pic of the current stereo for reference. (I have to apologise about my knob being in this photo but it's so big, it got in the way). :D

Cheers,
Wheaties.

I've got the same deal, I'm used to handsfree bluetooth and great sound. The Macintosh doesn't cut the mustard. So I'm using this soon http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=152

You'll need this too http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.p ... l?t=113589

I have these coming in stock again soon, and I have stock of the radio adapters :)
$100 for the fascia, $10 for the adapter. $10 shipping

Thanks for the response.

I didn't think I needed the full facia kit with the climate control part. According to this thread, only the 2DIN facia was needed.

I know that I still need the antenna adapter.

That's just the fascia. As in, no a/c unit included.
