Car Charging Options?

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2006 MY07 3.0R-B. I've purchased a 5.2amp 3-socket charger to charge my Samsung S6 Edge.
When using the genuine Samsung wall socket charger, I'm able to charge the battery very quickly, with the screen locked I can more or less get a full charge in roughly an hour or so.

The original car charger I had must not have been putting out enough power, with a bit of Spotify and Maps my battery percentage would still actually decline whilst on the charger, so I jumped on this thing here.

I've hooked this thing up to the 12v socket in the centre console and not much seems to be different over my previous, cheap Target - job charger.
Any auto electricians/savvy people around here know what I can do to get my phone charging a little faster?

You need a "Quick charge" compatible charger - this will adjust up the voltage from 5 to 9 or 12V and allow a much faster charge and power use.

The charger I listed seems to be 12v and 24v compatible.
Does that help or do I need to go for a specific Quick Charge plug?

I wonder if the 2.4A output of this would be safe to use with a nexus 7 install.
The apparent 2.1A normal charger just doesn't cut it to even MAINTAIN battery level while running screen, nav, bluetooth, torque...
just being lazy cause i haven't had time to wire in the power supply that i bought...
