05 Liberty Aftermarket GPS unit install **COMPLETED**

Postby Tewaka » Wed Jan 06, 2016 4:10 pm

Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone has installed a GPS unit into the cubby slot on the dash, if your car had the nav upgrade this is where the nav would be anyways, if so is it difficult to do?

Thought I would update this, I purchased a Garmin Nuvi, and wanted to put it into the cubby, Pulled the cubby out and removed the Door, trimmed some of the plastic back and the unit fits in rather nicely...I ran the power cord into the Center Console down past the handbrake....

Read a bit more :)
Lots of people have put in a tablet. I'm putting in a 1gauge, others have put in other guage/monitoring systems. If you put in a tablet you can also use BTSSM to show gauges.
