Are we sure the discs are multi-use and don't contain some single use code?

I have copied several previous versions without issues, so yeah we're sure.

Hi,

Has there been any update or movement on getting a copy of v22.

I'm also happy to chuck in money.

Or has anyone found a copy of the ISO?

I have checked GPS underground... and nothing

Hi all,

I've recently purchased an MY12 WRX hatch with the premium options - I'm not sure if this is the same head unit as the Liberty, but apparently it is the Subaru Denso C2.Is that the same one as the Liberty?

I'd like to get a copy of the V22 disc (part number WISSUBAUSKITC2-22), but to be honest I'd be very happy to get a copy of the V21 disc as my unit has the original DVD in there from when the car was new so is quite out of date now with all the road updates in Brisbane since then.

Can anyone help with a V21? Happy to also put money in for a V22 if it is the same disc that I'm chasing. The $200 - $295 prices I've seen around the place for the genuine update disc is daylight robbery IMHO.

Cheers,
Dean

Hi Dean,
Yes, C2 sounds right for your car. Our Gen5 Libertys have C2 (2009 onwards).
But V20 is the newest that seems to be out on the Internet for free at the moment. There was a v21 but no one was uploading anymore, so that torrent was dead. The torrent file for v20 is below. I contains both C1 and C2 as two separate files, so ignore the C1 file and burn the C2 Image onto a disk for your car.

Thanks for that - I'll download V20 tonight when I get home and give it a spin :)

I'm still keen on V21 or V22 if/when they turn up so will keep an eye out - willing to chip in for V22 as well if there is enough interest.

Cheers,
Dean

Hey guys,

Anyone willing to throw in and buy the new version? I was thinking we could as a group throw say$20 each in and buy it then upload to a torrent site its a win for everyone as we only pay $20 each for it instead of $295... I am willing to throw in with a group if happens

Thoughts anyone?

Yeah we tried that on the forum before the end of the financial year (can't remember if on this thread or another). We didn't get enough interest.

But we can try again. I'd be in for $20 :).

Yep - count me in. Now that V23 is available, V22 is down to $200.

Hi team, thank you for your work. I nearly gave up on finding a replacement for 2010 NZ maps I have
A few silly questions, been a while since I burned a CD/DVD:
1. what disc do I need? I see DL+R mentioned
2. What software and settings to use? ImgBurn?

The car is NZDM (the same as AUDM afaik), 2010 BR9 with McIntosh - am I right assuming that I need C2 for it?

Cheers!

PS: would be interested in the "group buy" too if it's $20 a head!

1. I can't remember if the version for a 2010 (which would be the C2 Disc version) needed a Dual Layer, but I can check if you want. Otherwise, if you have some normal writeable DVDs, see if it'll burn or reports an error that it's too big. And I don't think DVD+R or DVD-R matters.

2. Yes, ImgBurn works well. If you need Dual Layer, I can look up the Layer break setting. Let me know if you do, but no special settings are needed if it fits on a single layer.

Thanks a lot for the info!

C2 .iso is only 3.67GB so should well fit on a single layer.

Any progress with getting the newer version?

Ok cool. I was pretty sure C2 was only a Single Layer.

Let me know if you have any issues. And remember to keep the Original Disc, as you'll always need that after a battery disconnect.

I haven't seen a new version for download online, but hopefully someone will soon. As these cars get older, it's less likely that someone spends $200-300 for a Disc, and then shares it.
And with our group purchase, we're slowly getting more people, but I think we're still a fair way away from having enough.
