Hi all. I've just bought a jap spec 07 3.0rb. It has the panasonic 7" touchscreen display. I plan on swapping it for a nexus 7 at some stage but in the mean time. Can this unit display anything usefull. I thought they could display info like fuel consumption and various other parameters but i cant figure out how to do it. Maybe I'm wrong.
Can anybody confirm if they will do this and if so how?
Cheers
Chris

Post a pic of the display and DVD or SD card control unit.
I'm not sure what model you're referring to.
Is it oem and in the top cubby, or did it replace the macintosh HU?

I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow. Its factory fit. Has the mcintosh stereo. Dvd/ hdd unit under drivers seat. Some other unit under dash on passenger side that has reverse camera hooked up to it and it has a tv tuner in the boot at least thats what i think it is. I think the system was a factory optional upgrade.

Ok, maybe all you need is C1 V12 software disc and C1 V20 update maps disc?
Tom Kauf (NSW iirc) or I could help with those. Where are you?
The Nav should also be able to display reverse cam and video aux-in.
2 Nav hacks allow for inputting and using aux-in on the move...

Hi Ben. I'm in New Plymouth , NZ.
I was under the impression that jap satnav could not be made to work in NZ. I'd given up on that idea.
