I forgot that you are on a 2012.
The old 2012 Timur's did not need drivers loaded as they were included in the build. The 2013 does.
Looks good though.

Looks like my planned use of velcro isn't going to work.

So I found a piece of timber the right size and am going to have to copy your mounting system mate.

I think I will remove the clock assembly from the cubby though, and send the cables through that hole, rather than mangling the back of the cubby

Is anyone good with tasker?
If copilot gps is running in the foreground, I need to send it to the background (or open another app such as torque) when the power to the usb port is removed.

It seems that, if copilot is running as the foreground app, and power is removed, the nexus 7 2012 will not enter deep sleep. BUT, if copilot is only running in the background (or not at all) the tablet will sleep when power is removed

Update time, the easycap viewer software is playing up. It seems.to forget about the stk1160 adapter.
I have been in contact with the developer for support and he suggested loading the autodroid rom. I think the dev of the camera software is one of the guys that wrote autodroid...
I've had a crack at this, but end up with a flashing slimkat logo when I boot up after the flash. It won't do anything else.

Can anyone help?

Just replaced the Belkin Bluetooth receiver with a Behringer UCA 202 that I plugged into the USB hub. I was getting engine feedback off the BT receiver.

what camera did you actually end up using? and how did you get the video cable + power to the front?

I get engine whine thru my BT receiver and 202 as well...i got no idea how to eliminate it, although i read somewhere to maybe try shoving a piece of foil in with the micro USB connection in the tablet to ground it better...

Still using this camera. It's not great resolution, but it works

The cable is long so I fed it through the cable path that all of the other cables go down the drivers side of the car and up into the dash. Power to camera comes from the reverse light although you can power it from the front as there is a power cable attached to the Video cable.

I find I have much less engine whine now with the 202 than I had with the BT receiver

ahh cool..did you just mount it above your number plate between the number plate lights? how does it look? how did you power the relay? just from brown/yellow wire from one of the harness's up front?

I bashed out one of the number plate lights and put this camera in its place. Still need to replace the other one with an LED so they are the same colour as the lights on the camera. Looks pretty good. Not really visible.
The relay is powered from the reverse light too. There is a power lead that is attached to the video cable that I used. Very easy really.
