It looks to be a standard Double DIN HU.

As for how good it is? That was one hell of an add, and for the price they want, probably worth a try at least! Just have a look at the radio frequency tuning range and make sure it covers the Aus stations (I think so but double check)

Usually the worst thing about the eBay jobs is that the DAC can sound a bit muddy compared to a name-brand HU and that the GPU is usually on the cheap side, so don't expect scrolling or swiping to be slick and smooth like a top-end phone. I also find that the touch panel is usually not super-sensitive on some models.

This of course is not indicative of all eBay HU's - some are in fact quite good.

The one thing you won't be disappointed with in any of these eBay units are the overall features. They will quite literally play almost anything in any format that you throw at it - MKV, MP4, MTS, AAC, FLAC, OGG, OGV, FLV, etc.

And while the GPU might not be ultra smooth, the CPU is usually grunty enough that the overall responsiveness of the unit to launching and showing things on demand and then jumping to other apps is usually quite good nowadays.

While Android 4.4 is good, see if you can find something running (or upgradeable to) at least 5.0 as there a huge number of improvements that will make things like Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity that much nicer for you.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...
