[Question] Series 2 HU in Series 1 4GEN (MY05)

I'm looking to upgrade my standard (clarion I believe) from my series one gen four Libby. I'm looking at either the kenwood system or a more likely mcintosh system. Will they fit into my car. If so, is it a plug and play or do i need to play with wiring (which I don't mind). I know about the whole dual zone stuff and I've already taken that into consideration and found ones from single zone cars.
