Told 2014 Gen V GT can't have a new Head Unit

Hi Guys.
Just chasing peoples help. I have a 2014 Gen V GT Liberty with the McIntosh head unit. I had finally decided on the http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/products/2 ... /page.html to replace the McIntosh (I want intergrated DAB+ and dont really like the stock HU) I just rang 2 WA installers chasing the cost & ability to install this. It is a 7", same as the stock HU. Both installers told me that it cant be done due to the McIntosh's connections and I am stuck with the stock unit. Is this true? Can anyone point me to someone in Perth who can install/give me advice.

Ok, so I have found a installer who says he can do it as long as I get the gear. I have figured out i need either the whole fascia or the compartment (the compartment is the area that currently houses my audio controls for my head unit) Does anyone know where I can get either? I think this fascia is what is on US Subaru Outbacks but i need one in black. Does anyone have a clue where to get either the full trim or the compartment?

Maybe this one. More of a darker grey than black though
Also make sure you get one for rhd as they are slightly different when lookng at pictures.
