OEM McIntosh EF-1259I Required For Five Minutes.

Postby Fhrx » Sat Mar 07, 2015 4:54 pm

Good afternoon all,

We're a car audio store and're currently troubleshooting a Subaru Liberty which has the McIntosh EF-1259I mounted under the passenger seat. Does anyone have one we can borrow for five minutes to quickly check something? I'm happy to pay you for your time if required. This is the amplifier we're looking for:

Thank you! :)

You're not a car audio store...
You are THE car audio and install destination, in Sydney iirc ;)

Candidates would be a my08-09 GT-b sedan...

FHRX are at 72/70 Captain Cook Drive, Caringbah NSW 2229.

Marty only needs another factory amp of the same version for literally 30seconds to plug in place of the factory amp in the car. Its my 09 GT-B that he is upgrading at present.

Bit of a thread resurrection - but how did you go with this? I've just determined that my EF-1259I is dead (I'll be posting pics soon) after having lost all car audio, and I'm wondering what options I have to replace it.

I see regencydon had some success: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=31680

I'm wondering if I should go down a similar path. I'd probably get FHRX to do the work (I've already contacted Marty, I've used him before).
