Hi all, am trying to run a mono amp from the original factory parcel shelf 8" subwoofer. Currently have a 2 CHANNEL HIGH TO LOW AUDIO LINE CONVERTER (LOC) http://www.elite-electronics.com.au/In- ... _Converter - sitting next to me. Is it alright to just use a single side (channel) to extend the factory +, - wires as there is only 2 wires (+, -) connected to the factory sub and leave or cut the other 2 wires on the LOC. I cannot find a single mono LOC to use, and the amp I have does not have a Hi-Input unfortunately.

Thanks, Nick.

If i'm looking at that pic correctly it has 2 outputs which are both needed to go to the mono amp (L&R) or does it have 4?
Might be easier to take a clear pic of what tou have in fromt of you, unless someone else understands it better than me :?

I had a fusion one in mine. It had two rca wires out (l&r) but had 4 for in so just joined the 2 +ve wires and joined the 2 -ve together to make a single +\- set to hook up to the stock subs wiring.

Do exactly as above.

Join the two +ve inputs and two -ve inputs so that both inputs are receiving the same signal. Then the L and R RCA outputs both work.
