IOS 8.1 Phonebook and my Liberty

Postby legalis » Sun Feb 15, 2015 9:39 pm

I just bought a 2014 Liberty GT Premium. My Iphone 6 connects with it without a problem (Ive noticed you need to connect it separately if you want to use it as a bluetooth audio device, what a pain). I can see my recent calls, but my phonebook wont appear. When I attempt to download the phonebook, I get a disconnect message as it goes to the transferring screen. It sits on the transfer screen asking for the phonebook to be sent. Obviously nothing happens because the Iphone has been Disconnected. Any idea what the hell is wrong. I have tried it on IOS8 and even upgraded to IOS 8.1 to try and fix the issue. I have tried wiping and registering the phone, no avail. Phonecalls work, just the phonebook issue. I dont really want to manually enter all my numbers into the car. Also, does anyone know if the Subaru can be set to autolock once you have moved the RFID key a certain distance, or do you always need to touch the little button on the door handle to lock it?

Cheers

From memory the iOS uses a different transfer protocol than the McIntosh unit so you can't sync contacts.
