Hey Justin,

Got it from here: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/oe_parts_cat.html (same as the link at the top of this page).

Part number: #83154AG001

Wasn't too difficult to fit although I did change the steering wheel on my old Falcon and this was basically the same. I just get nervous around the airbag, that's all.

I paid $143 including postage.

For everyones info.

Ive contacted Subaru Docklands. They've quoted $154 for the part.
Their service dept. have said ~$200 to install.

I rang makin and luby. They've quoted more for the part (about $169), but their service department won't do the install.

I'm not 100% confident installing it myself, and believe that the $200 seems rather excessive when they've quoted 1-1.5hrs.....

Give DR Concepts a call, I'm sure they'll be able to install it for you - I've had all my aftermarket items like suspension work, braces etc done by them

It shouldn't take 1 - 1.5 hours to install. It's also not that difficult if you can get past the fear of the airbag exploding.

$154 is pretty good for the part though.

This is the walkthrough for the steering wheel:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1881734

Follow that and you should be able to install the steering wheel controls. As long as you disconnect the battery, press the brake a few times and wait 20 or so mins you will be fine.

I've got the part for the 05 and have installed it but still need to do the wiring at the back to make it work with an Eclispe head unit. Haven't got around to taking apart the dash again yet.
