Does anyone know if a my07 Macintosh 6 stacker HU will work in a my08 , the aircon controls step up are different !!

I've just tried to swap a 08 into my 06 3RSpecB and have hit some significant issues, SWC not functioning and A/C controls not functioning, I'll update my progress, regards GF

All good I did the swap a few weeks ago second hand unit I got had the dual zone aircon unit , I swapped it withy single zone ac unit and bingo good as new , SWCworking ,all this because my AM reception stopped working !!

For the benefit of others who might be tempted to try similar swaps, would you guys please post pictures of your original and "new" head units, along with their model numbers?

I swapped my '06 HU for an '07 (see below) and the only thing that doesn't work is the SWC.

The climate controls and stereo work fine and I now have bluetooth hooked up. I can live without the SWC if it means having the bluetooth but I would like to get them working.

Its really not hard at all if you know where to look.

Thanks for this mate. Hopefully I can get it working. My left AC controls also do nothing but what I found interesting is you said the dimmer did not work until you used the green wire? The green wire is not connected to my '07 HU but the dimmer works.
