Polk Audio sub

Yes yes being a douche by reposting but I wanted an updated opinion and the search results are mixed.

Are people still replacing the stock sub with the Polk Audi sub? I think it was the MM was it not?

My cousin has an 05 GT and his stock sub blew so he asked what my opinion was and I told him to get the Polk Audio sub if possible...because it is just plug and play with the stock amp etc. right?

Thanks :)

I bought myself an MB Quart 8" slimline (not so slimline) sub but I am yet to fit it as I need a 12-19mm spacer. $70 cheaper than the Polk and Kicker options that are recommended. Hopefully I'll have it fitted by the end of the week.

Answer to your Q: Polk Audio MM840(marine) or DB840..ok to plug and play with the use of a spacer.
