Just wondering if there's aux-in available for the MY04-06 Mcintosh headunit... does anyone know? Ric?

That's an ongoing project.
I have a head unit to experiment on, am just looking for the appropriate plugs to go into the back of it to make it easier to test.
I have some info on how the OEM navigation system interfaces to the OEM radio, and want to see if the McIntosh supports the same connection.
There WAS A Clarion unit that worked via the CENET connector, but they went out of production a year or so ago.

If you already have the iPod adaptor then you might be able to use this one:

I think the part # is EE-1155B-A. AUX input box
I tried to source it from a local Clarion dealer or at least get them to approach Clarion to see if they had a spare one around, but had no response. I haven't tried Clarion direct.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one if you get a source.

Google says that the 1155B does indeed look like the right part number. But the part was released in 1999 - that's a long time for an electronic item to be on the market...

But won't charge ipod obviously? I guess if you mount he on-off switch for the 1155 in the compartment behind the hand brake, there is a 12v power outlet for an ipod charger......
Maybe heading back towards the 1251 I think depending on how much the 1155 will be Tanglca.
