PLZZ HelP! Liberty 07 stock stereo crashed???

I own a Subaru Liberty wagon 07 premium pack.
Today I hired a detailer to detail my wagon to put it up for sale, he was spraying spray around my stock
stereo unit to clean it up and it completely went blank, dead..
there is no power output or digital writing on the screen at all??
All the cd's ejected properly from it and the lights all come up when the headlights are on just the digital interface is not showing, and there is no power from the power on button.
All fuses under dash and under the bonnet have been checked by a mechanic and come back perfectly ok.
The heater/ac unit works fine underneath and the digital reading of the temp/petrol/milage ect works fine above the stereo unit.
Please if anyone can help with some advice on how to fix this power source this would be very much appreciated as my car will be up for Sale as per this weekend.
