Just wondering if anyone uses one of these to house their head unit?

Yep I've used one

I don't recommend it

This is the minimum for easy/neat fitment, but you'll still had to modify brackets etc to make it work, plus find/buy the radio adapter (it's literally the fascia only)

This is the one I bought - plug and play direct fitment, comes with new brackets etc - no stuffing around
