2.5i Complete Upgrade - But Stock...

Hey there guys,

I'm currently thinking about upgrading the audio within my Outback, but want to keep stock headunit if possible... (May change down the road).
One reason as to why i'm wanting to keep the head unit is that the mould for a new headunit is around $800. The headunit is a GX 203KH.

So my question is, is it possible to possibly keep the stock head unit, but upgrade say door speakers and add 1/2 subs? And/or new amp (if car has one?)

Order that audio upgrade will be done:
1.Grom audio added
2.1.Do something with the Amp
2.2.Subs installed, but stealthily, in back (gotta find/make enclosure) Heard 10" best for minor boot enclosures...
3.Door Speaker Upgrade
4. Headunit (Only if i can find gx 203kh mold for cheaper!)

Any suggestions as to a compatiable system?
Sub 10" -?
Door Speakers-?
Amp-?
Gx 203KH - Headunit mold for touch screen to be cheaper?
Know anywhere I can pick up a stealthbox? Pre-made? For potentially both sides of the boot? for 2x sub? JL no longer makes :(

One thing I'm trying to achieve with my Outback is to keep the Stock LOOK, but upgrade other stuff.

Thanks
Kontrl

I'm doing the same thing dude.
I got myself a Line Out Converter which will feed amps for front and rear.
You basically run your speaker wires to the LOC and then some RCA's from that to the amps
