Hi all
this isn't exactly car audio specific, but I know there's a few tech/audio experts who I thought might be able to help
I want to transmit an analog audio signal from RCA outputs on my DJ equipment via Bluetooth to be picked up in another room by my Belkin BT receiver.
I know there are some cheap (under $20) switchable receiver/transmitters on Ebay but they are rechargeable and most cannot charge and operate at the same time.
The ideal situation would be to somehow get the audio via my HTC One phone or Nexus 7 tablet, convert and send via BT.
I came close last night by using my Nexus paired up with an OTG cable, Behringer UCA 202 connected to my HTC phone's audio out jack via 3.5mm-> RCA cable, and using USB Audio Recorder Pro - this enabled me to record a signal onto the Nexus (via the micro USB) and then play back via BT to my home stereo. However, it's the "live" play that I'm after. Basically I want to use my DJ equipment and speakers in one room and simultaneously play the same in another room. Developer confirmed not an option with the above app.
Are there any options I can sort out today? I only want this for tonight so ordering some device from Ebay is not an option, and though Jaycar has one for $50 it's also rechargeable and I'll only be using it once, so I prefer something around $20.
Apparently ALDI used to have one - that'd probably do if I could locate today but I don't think they have stocked for a couple of years.
Any advice would be appreciated!
