I've noticed a few "cheapish" factory satnav systems on Yahoo Auctions, e.g:

Would they be compatible with the McIntosh head unit in the facelift models (PF-28241)? The buttons on the screen section does seem to differ a little bit from the AUDM version (first and last buttons)

Also, If it all hooks up, obviously there wouldn't be Australian maps installed, would they be able to be uploaded via CD?

Ask Simon sh03rb but just put in a nexus: much better IMHO

Yeah it should work. However, it will be all Japanese and the extra buttons are just for the inbuilt Minidisc player.
