RCJoyCon install

Postby JLuehman » Sat Sep 28, 2013 1:43 pm

Wondering if anyone has had any experience installing an RCJoyCon in a liberty with the McIntosh stereo.
Trying to set one up for my in-dash Nexus 7 install.

I can see each button press in the software, but they are all too close to be detected separately and adjusting the 2 resistors doesn't seem to do much at all.

Cheers.

I managed to get it to mostly work.

I cannot get it to detect the down arrow button or the long press of the up arrow, which is annoying as these are the only 2 buttons i really wanted to use.
I was going to make:
- up arrow skip to next song
- hold up arrow to go to navigation app
- down arrow to go to previous song
- hold down arrow to go to music app

I think i'll give up on this for now.

Tried it again and still cant get the down arrow to register.

Also noticed that once connected, the steering wheel buttons no longer do what they are supposed to.
Volume up does volume down and volume down does nothing.

Hopefully there is something else out there that will work.
