Fried AMP

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has come across a similar issue with their McIntosh units..

Few months ago, the head unit stopped producing any sound, got it checked out by a local repair shop here in perth (JW Ossy Park) and turns out the amp was fried and would require new set of internal parts. JW Owner, John got parts organised and fitted them in. Amp was fine working and also the head unit, two after the fix same thing happened again.. this time when it died I was in the car and could smell something burning.

John has taken the amp out and is getting diagnosed it, any suggestion as to what might be causing it to die ?
