Can you change the headunit on 4gen liberty?

Hey guys I recently got a 4gen liberty wagon and want to beef up the system a bit (and add my ipod to an aux) but it seems that the aircon and headunit are housed together and not sure if its possible to change it and if so if anyone makes kits for the face plate?

I was told it wasnt possible cause of the aircon!

Checked both sites cant seem to find one with manual climate they do make on in the us but its the wrong shaped

Doubt that you could convert to manual control - all the vent fittings etc will be designed wrong.
I still have a JDM facia and AC controller (single zone) available here
