Amplifier replacement?

Hey guys, now I know there are plenty of threads with these kind of questions, but I'm a bit of a noob and can't find a thread taylored to my specific issue.
I have a 2006 MY07 Liberty 3.0r Spec B with the McIntosh HU. My amplifier has shit itself and I'm not in the right position to replace the entire system although I will look to that further down the road.
For now I just need some suggestions on what I could replace the stock amp with and how to run it all. I want to power all the speakers if I can but not looking to spend a shitload. So what are some reasonablely priced amplifiers that would do the job?

All opinions appreciated.
Cheers.

Hayden.

The issue is not what, but how. You'll be looking for a 5ch amp for a start.

The issue lies with connecting up the new amp, have a search, it's all been answered many times.

Basically, the output from the McIntosh headunit requires a bit of trickery to make it work with a normal RCA-input amp you would buy off the shelf.

Why not just go a whole new headunit?
