It was meant to general haha

Im thinking of upgrading the head unit to a double din touch screen, replace the speakers n tweets, adding a mini underseat sub or in a custom box because i need the boot space. I asked so i could get a rough idea of how much it would cost and if you can DIY or any info on certain things such as speaker sizes, wiring etc. So yeah, any general info on audio stuff about the Gen V would be great

What's your budget? I can quickly recommend you some gear but you probably won't like the $20,000 price tag so unless you know how much you want to spend you won't know what you can and can't do with the budget.

Do a search through the audio section to get general audio information. Alternatively, go to mobileelectronics.com.au and start reading.

I've auditioned a number of different speakers in my GenV GT for installs that I've recently completed, albeit utilising the OEM amplifier. Will put together a thread for GenV owners the next time I am throwing a set of speakers in the doors and have the door cards off.
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

This

All i require is information, budget isnt my main concern. I just need to know what is compatible (esp the gen v has steering controls, bluetooth, reverse camera, etc) or what beens done to the Gen V.

I know on the LGT forums there are a couple of threads with aftermarket setups, but i dont know how much their Legacys differs to our Libertys.

Just sayin

Yeah mate, have had some pretty serious health issues over the last 10 months. Back to 100% though and glad to be contributing once again.

Being off work and unpaid for 10 months sucked. Had some sexual DLS/Audison goodness ready to be deployed full time into the GT and had to sacrifice it for less important responsibilities, like mortgage payments etc. oh well, soon enough.
