My New Audio System!

Hey guys! I'm pretty new to the forum but i'm excited to get stuck into my new 2003 My04 2.5i Liberty! I pick her up saturday and I already have my audio gear bought and sitting in my room waiting to be installed! I just thought i'd give you guys a list of the audio thats going in to the car, and as i'm installing it all i'm going to be taking pictures and posting them up for people to see!

Audio List:
Pioneer AVH-P8450BT (dvd/receiver)
Hertz HDP4 (four channel amplifier)
Hertz HDP1 (one channel amplifier)
Focal 165KRX2 (6.5” & 1” component set)
Focal IC165 (6.5” co-axial set)
x2 Focal P33V2 (13” subwoofer)
Deka 9A34R (deep cycle battery)

Wiring is all Audison Connection. Has a full earth kit with it as well. Also have 72 square feet of Dynamat Xtreme to lay down in the doors and boot.
I'm also going to be building the sub box myself with two separate chambers and painted with soundproofing paint on the inside and covered in black automotive carpet on the outside for a nice look against the original carpet in the boot. Very expensive set up, but I believe it is well worth it! Thanks heaps to Fhrx Studios in Sydney for the quick delivery and great customer service!

Wow, nice setup, looking forward to seeing the pics. You've obviously got a bit of time on your hands as this install will be quite time consuming, or are you just tackling it over a weekend ? Either way

Gonna take advantage of daylights savings and put in a little bit of effort every afternoon. I have a work car so the lib can sit at home all week and I should be able to get a full install done the sub box and dynamat is going to be the most annoying parts!

I've got 72 square feet of dynamat to go in all 4 doors, boot floor and lid, and whatever is left over!

Geez thats a fair bit to go in. Should be like a sound proof booth after that. Sexual.

fair call man, you'll find somewhere to fit that stuff. Its worth every penny. Would love to be able to hear it in its full glory. Like having an orchestra in your car is what I reckon it will be like.

Yeah i'm hoping it gives the opera house a run for its money. If you're ever up Sydney or Newcastle way on a weekend (I know the chances are low as your an adelaide boy) then let me know and we could meet up and have a cruise together!
