Hey guys,
i have a 2004 4gen liberty with the non mac sound system. i have just recently upgraded the speakers and amped them and they sound good but they lack simple bass. is it possible to run a sub from the stock head unit which i still have in even though it didnt have one standard? obviously ill need to amp it etc but is there a connection space for one? or has anyone done it?
the plan is to just put a sub in the 8inch slot on the parcel shelf as i need the boot space for work and life etc.

just cant find any answer in the thread that isnt macintosh related.
cheers

Definately can be done as I did it in my facelift model. Mind you, I have now changed the headunit, amps, front speakers and sub since that thread.

Other thing is the Vibe as good as it was, apparently isn't as good quality as when I bought it. Also, FHRX doesn't sell the Space8 anymore for this reason.
An alternative is the Polk MM840 and another Polk variant (forgot exact model number).
