Thats a fantastic install.. where did you get the surround from? I am very keen to can the McIntosh system (it sounds good, but I want MP3 and Integrated Bluetooth!).. that would make life much easier!

I have have to conscript your help.. do you accept Beer as a currency?

I like your sub box, it reminds me of my old car's install, but much neater I had a Soundstream 15" mounted the same way. The box was made of fibreglass, it was not exactly what you would call light.
You need to tuck in stock wiring for the speaker plugs

it took alot of hard work and dedication to do what you did. and it turn out extremely well imo.. well done Mo!

Thanks Phil, can't say how many hours it took but would guess around 25 to 30 hours of work all up.

More than happy to help Chris but i don't drink beer - some small batch bourbon is more my thing.

I bougth the HU din panel from Michael (Phat GT) and the pocket below it is from an 03 wrx.

Thanks, yeah i made the box out of fiberglass - and its much lighter than making it out of wood.

And thanks for pointing out the stray speaker plug and light plug.

Thank you sir. I enjoy doing installs and with each one i find a better way to do something. With this install i'm really happy with the way the amp rack turned out - its a floating rack and you can't see any of the mounts.

i think the best way for me personally to say it is, if i had just paid a stack of cash to have this done and that's how my car came back, i'd be pretty happy...

I think it sounds good But i still have to play around with a few settings and see how it goes.

yeah i can get the spare out with out removing anything - when i planned the layout of the amp and sub box i made enough allowance to be able to pull the spare out of the car.
