Another place to try is your local car audio install shop - they have these "backstraps" which are metal strips they use to hold central locking motors in place. I don't have a pic, but they generally get about 6 or 7 with an alarm kit or locking it, and have spares lying around you could get for nothing or a few bucks.

Hey, where can i buy the plastic 2DIN panel that replaces the stock headunit so i can install a aftermarket headunit? :oops:
