I managed to get hold of a Subaru bluetooth module - SEDEYA6001 - looks like a Parrot CK3000 Evolution.

I have fitted it and it seems to work fine with the phone in 'phone mode' but does not play anything when in 'phone playing music mode' - is there a way round this?

Are there any know tricks or mods to this kit?

Cheers

Can't help you there sorry but do you have any more information about this unit? Exactly how does it connect to the car and do you know if it will suit Aus models? :)

As far as I know it should fit Oz models. It works with UK models and mine is JDM. I believe your cars are the same head units.
The system plugs into the back of the head unit and then to the main wiring loom. It has an interrupt box to cut out the car stereo feed. There is a blue brain box which also houses the Bluetooth transmitter I believe. A microphone for roof mounting is supplied and a small control unit. No screen with this unit... Control options are chosen via voice menu.

Update...

Found an app on android market - BTmono! 8)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... mono&hl=en

It's a bit clunky to use but it does work... Good enough for the moment anyway :D

Thanks for your interest...

I dont think (from what I've read briefly on Google) that this unit supports A2DP.
BTMono is ok- not great though.

How well does this interface with the radio from the phone side? I was looking at a portable Handsfree, but these aren't that much more expensive than a decent one.
