Ok rang subaru to find out about getting the controls on my steering wheel , gave them my VIN, they told me i should have it already on my wheel [i dont ] so does any one who has a my08 premiun ,did it come with the controls as standed or not, also has anyone put the controls onto the wheel ,and if so any tips ,is the wiring already there and just need to hook it up,or is it going to be a bigger job then that.
Any advice would be appreciated

So ive bought the parts for the steering wheel, should get it in the next few days ,just hope I can fit it with out f&@king anything up

Be sure to disconnect battery & hit the brake pedal a few times to make sure there's no power left in the car to set the airbag off when you're fiddling with it

we're the f do you find the model number on the hu looked everywhere it's the macintosh with the six disc stacker

And yes both controls light up when lights are turned on
From past topics it should have been a case of plug and play for the my08 but it's just not the case ,it's pissing me off that I need to know why,when,how

Following on from the OP, is there any way to reprogram the up and down arrows on the steering wheel controls? Instead of going to the next preset radio station it simply moves to the next available radio signal......08 gtb sti

same mine go to the next available radio signal

Not sure it's possible but would love to able too
