Burning mp3's to DVD Disc

Just wondering if anyone has managed to burn mp3's to play with a 07 Mccintosh Stacker? Ive been trying to burn to a dvd disc without much luck......
Im pretty sure its supposed to recognize mp3 discs. If you have done this successfully could you let me know what burner you use also

I used to play mine no problem (but now have double din system). You have to burn the mp3 disc to a CD not DVD and forgot to add I was using Nero

^ yeh just use iTunes and burn them to a CD not DVD (CDs only hold around 15 songs
), would be good if we could use the DVD as they would hold a lot more songs!

If you make a playlist on itunes of the songs you want. about 100. Then go to burn playlist and choose the option burn as an mp3 or something similar to that it should work. whether or not ire works in a Macintosh is a while other question

Not trying to difficult but does anyone know a different method to using itunes? I dont use Apple stuff (bad experiences and i reckon they're money hungry nazis).

It may be free but the ipod, iphone or ipad you use with it aint. Do you see where im going with this? Ever tried transfering your music from one computer to another?

Haha yeh they are very strict with their music and apps, making sure you cant just share them with mates etc.

Just to reiterate because the person above didn't spell it out enough.
The Mcintosh will only recognise CD's not DVD's, so that is the OP's problem.
Any generic burning program will do, just select MP3 CD / Data CD, it's the same thing.

It may be free but the ipod, iphone or ipad you use with it aint. Do you see where im going with this? Ever tried transfering your music from one computer to another?
You can register it on five computers and that is only for purchased songs. anything you import from a cd is yours to do as you will. but your call.

he he....this is why I have a JVC HU (DV6105) that can read DVDs - mp3 or video (Mpeg4). 4.7Gb of mp3 goes a VERY long way, and set on "random disc" you get good mixing of artists....Even without touching the speakers, and with the sub idle the sound is better than the original Mcintoss. Dont even need to play with loudness.
