DVD Player Won't Fit! (Pics!)

Postby Tom » Fri Oct 26, 2007 6:52 pm

I ordered it from JapanParts last week, and it arrived today! (yay!)

Image

but the problem is..
the dvd player i bought for it is too big for the gap!
It is too wide to slide through in both directions, and because the front of it is fat it wont sit in the gap..

...So anyone got any ideas (besides grinding it back) on how I can fix this?

Or does anyone want to buy a brand new never been used DVD player (3.5" screen+remote) for around $280? haha.. It should fit into a normal radio area system just fine (Just none of them full integrated systems..).. haha..

Is there a bracket on the DVD player itself that slides off? Towards the front where you say it is too wide?

The japanparts.com website is confusing... did you buy the AV PANEL SET? when you click to view more details, it shows a darker colour fascia and wrong a/c unit. Obviously you got the correct one though, does it just depend on which model you order? It also says it's $320.89?

www.avojdm.com have it as well. Their price seems pretty good too; I bought my side window visors (weather shields) for $200USD shipped. Which is cheaper than anywhere else I have seen.
