aux input in the my08 sti?

i'm just wondering if the my08 gt tb sti has an aux input in the stock system?

hey mate,
I have a 2.5i 2007, i know its not the same car but just letting you know how it worked for me. Mine didnt come with it stock, subaru had to get one installed in the vehicle which the previous owner did on my behalf.

It shouldn't, as you have to buy the AUX cable from Subaru and get it installed.

Was not stock in my 08 gtb...option, $130 IIRC. Considering the work involved in lifting the HU out, and the tunnel cover to run the cable into the cubby, good value IMHO.

Spoke to tom Kerr Subaru as I have a friend there and apparently they aren't installing/making these available anymore. Can someone maybe point me into the direction of what to do.

If anyone in sydney is looking for the aux input cable for a MY08 liberty (Part Number is - H6210AG000),Denslo at Rosehill sell them for $125.Purchased one last week, put it in in about an hour and it works brilliantly with the mcintosh.

What kind of AUX cable is this?

Its a female 3.5mm jack that sits in the centre console. (under the cigarette lighter there is a blanking plate)

Just bought a 08 STI and no it doesnt come as standard. I got them to install one for me tho for $100 as part of my purchase deal

I was more worried about the Pin outs on the back of the MAC, it looks like its hard to find any info on them.

Certainly not a stupid question but it will only work on MY07/MY08 models that have the AUX option on the stereo, earlier models had CHR for a stacker.
