Is this the disc I sent you? It should be a straight swap, even with the system running and in motion mine (and I assume the others') worked

Ye, getting it with both DVD's (Redline [ [offsite backup versiopn] and Denso) I think I need a hard reboot to clean things up. This weekend will see it tested.

I've hit a small snag so haven't put up the ISO's yet until proven OK (or instructions for people to use them).

Swap the V15 DENSO disc out and put in the V16 one and get snow as a map.
Same result with V16 Redline.

Have people had to fully reboot (disconnect battery) to force the system to do a full load from the new DVD?

which GPS do you have? is it the factory one that's linked to the Macintosh?

mine swapped out without issue... usually when it does I put my old v13 disc to load the software and swap disc right after...

Ye factory Nav linked to the McIntosh (well it was when it was installed). I might boot up on V13 and try again. Might work better. Have used that method before.

Hey guys, first post - my gf has a liberty 2006 R with satnav and the maps seem pretty old (not sure they have ever been updated).

Anyways, she's asked how to update the maps and I found you guys. I've read through this topic and it looks like I should get the Denso disc?

Any chance one of you might help me out - happy to reimburse for your effort. PM me, thanks in advance. Located in MELB btw.

What actually works on the MY10's now?.....had the V16 maps last year but in the end it keeps saying "Not a Map Disc" everytime.......I had someone send over a disc a while back and have only just tried it.....it works but the maps are all stuffed up.

follow these instrtuctions

This is the Denso ISO (C1), not Redline (C2)
Retain your original maps disc you will need this to reboot to Navigator if you
get a flat battery
Burn as ISO Image directly to a DVD-R disc (DVD-R as far as i know not a DVD+R) as a ISO Image and not DVD data. you can find free programs to burn ISO images
on the net, I used Nero 7.10.1.0
Turn your key to accessory's and eject the original Maps DVD, your screen should say "insert maps DVD" or something similar,
insert your new DVD you have just burnt, within 10 seconds or so you navigator should boot up as normal.
Enjoy
Do not burn as DVD data and Do not burn as Multi session
