The voice thing sounds cool. Do you hear a voice announcement?
Note: If you do not hear the voice announcement, it means that you did not press quickly enough and the adapter is not in the “MODE CHANGING” state anymore. Please perform STEP I again

Yeah have been following the instructions. I've tried hitting a few different buttons whilst she announces "USB", nothing appears to make it change into another mode.

Have already done the firmware update. No change

My GROM-USB2P arrived today. Installed it fine, USB mode works (sort of). But unable to change into AUX/iPod/Bluetooth modes. Stereo Model is McIntosh PF-2551i

USB mode audio works fine, but unable to change tracks from the headunit. Press the next/previous buttons but nothing happens. Have a feeling this is why I can't change into the other modes as well.

Make sure the Bluetooth dongle is plugged into ext1

And I also noticed my model number is 28241 so I'm probably out of question.

Haven't got a bluetooth module yet. Plugged AUX into both EXT1 and EXT2.

Regardless, the fact that in USB mode the next and previous buttons on the headunit don't work suggest that the GROM isn't picking up the key presses so it's not going to be able to change mode.

Hopefully they'll fix this for my model in the next firmware update.

Cant believe Subaru didn't have Bluetooth and aux set up as standard equipment in the GEN IV , instead of going through all this BS

I just received my replacement IPD3 version today, and still no love at all...track buttons do nothing, nor can I hear any audio from my iPod... Frustrating...

Yep, it just sits there on D01 00:00, with the controls doing nothing...
I am using it with a old 80gb iPod classic...The box obviously is working, as the iPod starts playing a track (shown on the screen), but just no nothing to the head unit

I've browsed and browsed but can't find out how to get GROM mode / CD changer mode active
Do all CD's need to be removed?

Wack!
