Is it just me or is the MY10 Gen V sat nav the worst routing solution ever designed?
Do the new maps help in anyway to improve the routing options and directions provided?

I hope so, as it can't get any worse.

I got my Liberty 2.5I Prem MY11 in December and it was shipped with V16 C2 - yet to see a V17 C2

Good to get that clarification. The MY10s rolled over from V15 to V16 for build dates after March - anyone got a post March MY11?

I picked up my 2.5GT on 9th August and the Sat Nav CD was v17 C2.

I burnt v17 C1 ISO for 2008 Forrester with bluetooth using Active ISO burner and DVD-R but does not work and continues to ask "insert map disc".
Does the DVD need to be dual layer? Any help you can provide would be really appreciated.

If it is comming up with "please insert map disc" then chances are you need C2 (aka Redline). That's also what I need. Anyone wanna upload an ISO, or send me a copy of the disc, I'd be happy to upload and seed as a private torrent to forum members like I did at the start of the year while I was away overseas (sorry about that, my computer crashed while I was away which is why the speed suddenly dropped for so many of you).

A handy hint too for all you guys up here in the heat, burn a few copies and keep em spare in the glovebox. Heat + Burnt DVD = failure after a few months, it will become more and more glitchy... so just make some spares and swap it out when it gets glitchy... too easy.

Successfully downloaded, uncompressed and created the DVD
Just tried it in my Outback MY10 and it did not work
Tells me 'Disc is not a Map DVD'.
Have previously done same successfully for V16 C2.

I've already got the version 17 for the non redline version and have been using it for the last 6 months...

I got it off a member based in Melbourne (apologies for forgetting your name)

Help - What is the "redline version" ??

So MY07 Liberty is Gen4 and uses V17 C1 image?

I'm trying to download now.. but as i'm not a RapidPro user, i can only do it one by one

Downloaded them all well and unzipped to ISO file.
As DVD burner is not working properly, I will report back after burning it in my work PC and test on my Liberty MY07

I got it working on MY07 Liberty!
it's a bit sluggish and making Dvd reading noise, maybe due to my DVD disc?

but it seems it's reading it fine and looking up destinations fine.. it found one address wrong in V15, but V17 finds it correctly!

Try burning it at a slower speed, or it could be the media you used.
