Nothing is set in stone, but probably the "Mildura Motor Inn" in Deakin Ave.
We're taking two weeks to do this drive (with stays in the underground motel at White Cliffs, and the "Zoofari" lodge at Dubbo Zoo. :)

Good thing you're passing through Narrandera and not staying a night. *shudders*

Or if someone has a current, or even a genuine subaru previous edition that will boot my GPS that they could copy for me so i could at least test my unit to make sure it will fix the problem. Im willing to pay someone $50 for a copy of either V14 or V15 that will should boot my system just so i know if its going to work.

I think I remember i d/l both versions 14 and 15 to test wen they came out. (Didn't work on mine obviously as I need red line).
I gave v15 to a mate but I'll have to see if I can find v14 it should be around somewhere!

Im not too sure. I think maybe, what it is is that i need a Subaru disc...Not necessarily genuine, but just one with Subaru boot up data? I could be on the wrong track here but I think what has happened is that my disc that i have in there now is a maps disc, but no boot up data...so it ran fine while it was running, but when the GPS unit completly reset itself it was looking for the subaru data to boot it back up? Im not sure...can someone pleeease clear this up? haha. Im such a noob!

yeah in that case i'm not too sure my version 14 will work, cos i think its maps from the toyota unit..... (which will work on urs) so its not 'subaru' as such...

Do you have any original Subaru disk? (Doesn't matter what version).
If not, you're going to be in the same boat if your battery ever goes flat...

Yeah i can see that now. What i need is a direct copy of a subaru disc...Its very strange, iv had the battery disconnected before (eg when installling HID's) and this has never happend. Thats why i dont wana spend $300 if its something wrong with the actual unit...hence i need a "test" disc haha.

Yeah im pretty sure thats what im guna need. And V13 is fine, as i think im running V12 haha. I dont mind paying out the $300 for the genuine thing eventually, but i just want to know if thats the problem to begin with. Like i said, if you can get a copy for me i will pay you! Cheers
